How this course works.
The Level 3 First Aid at Work course is taught over one classroom day (6 hours), with the remaining time completed through an e-learning course (12 hours). This matches the traditional 3 days of classroom instruction associated with the qualification.
Updated HSE guidelines on the ratio of practical to e-learning mean the course is equivalent to 3 days of classroom learning.

About Our Courses
Our courses are designed to provide learners with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence they need to respond effectively in real-world situations. Each course combines clear, engaging learning with practical training to ensure learners can understand the theory and apply their skills when it matters most.
Depending on the course, learning may include practical classroom sessions, online learning, interactive activities, assessments, and demonstrations led by experienced trainers.
Our training is suitable for individuals, workplaces, and organisations, with courses available for different levels of experience and learning needs. Learners are supported throughout their training and assessed according to the requirements of their chosen course.
The minimum age for this nationally recognised course is 16. Younger learners can still complete a non-regulated equivalent if supervised by an adult.
